This Aleatoric Music Activity is great for a quick 1 or 2 day class period. It introduces two Aleatoric Composers, defines aleatoric music and prompts students to create their own aleatoric music by either choosing graphic or dice composition technique. This also allows students to perform their aleatoric music if they are at the end of their first year playing an instrument or if you are choir, this is a great exercise for students to practice their sight reading.
Included in Aleatoric Music Activity:
- 1 Instructional Slideshow with 14 slides
- Student Worksheet and Activity Sheet
- Example video of Dice Composition Technique
